Milly la For\u00eat - France<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creation and production of the sound archives for the National Center of Plastic Arts (CNAP) of the work \"Le Cyclop\".<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The archive consists of a series of recordings forming a sound bank of Le Cyclop and eight binaural pieces showcasing the sonic characteristics of the different sections that make up Le Cyclop.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Everything is available at <a href=\"https:\/\/archivescyclop.fr\/en\">https:\/\/archivescyclop.fr\/en<\/a><\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\">December 2024<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c00a60f e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"c00a60f\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-52ce81b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"52ce81b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 As Le Cyclop is a 22-meter-high metal sculpture composed of several other rooms and works, the archiving required the use of multiple microphone technologies in order to capture the work in the entirety of its behavior. In addition to traditional mono, stereo and quadraphonic recordings - seismic accelerometers, contact microphones, and Eigenmikes (64- and 32-channel ambisonic microphones) were used.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sound bank was recorded and documented with the aim of mediating the work, as well as serving as compositional material for future artists and composers. The binaural pieces were created to preserve the vertical and simultaneous characteristics of the work\u2019s behavior, as well as its location\u2014secluded in the forest\u2014which is essential to
